Added Programmable Pixels!!!


This update adds programmability to Match Filters, Non-Match Filters, and Sensors. Pressing ‘R’ while hovering one of these pixels will open a dialog where you can choose which material the pixel should care about. So now, you can create filter and sensor setups without needing to have reference pixels next to them, giving you more flexibility with how you wire things up.

A lot of other work was also done on setting up all of the achievements for the full version of the game (69 achievements in all atm), with the new achievements screen - although that will be more visible when the full game releases. :)

Other Updates:

  • added a new music track for the Lava biome (“Heat Wave”)
  • added info icons to the Material Guide that, when hovered, tell you what the current material mines into or phase-changes into (useful for seeing drop-tables of mineable pixels)
  • when hovering a rotatable pixel, the tooltip gives the current key to rotate
  • the Hammer gives tooltip feedback if you try to draw a line with no buildable material selected
  • Teledrill picks up pixels while mining
  • programmed pixels with a target assigned do not melt (so you can use them in your forges)
  • improved the achievement / element-discovery pop-up so it appears in the lower-right corner (more standard, keeps it out of the way of what you’re doing)
  • improved tooltip look and feel in many areas (smooth font, more consistent appearance)
