BIG INVENTORY UPDATES:

• Increased TOOLBAR slots from 6->8 (also increased equipment slots in Toolbox to 32)
• Added ability to increase the number of slots in the material inventory!!!
  • New character baseline is hotbar + 3 rows
  • 2 Backpack Upgrades are available: each upgrade gives an extra 3 rows of inventory space
• QoL: make “give” command in dev console also give player tools
• QoL: when dropping same on same material in inventory, combine stacks
• QoL: when collecting a material, if an empty hotbar slot is selected, put the material in that, otherwise, look first for a non-full stack of the same material in the hotbar to add to
• BUGFIX: fixed an issue where the drill wasn’t running when cursor was over the HUD
• BUGFIX: fixed an issue where if there were no saved keybindings the respawn message wouldn’t say the correct key
• EXTRA QoL (added in Nov-26b build): tooltips on the inventory slots will also tell you the chemical formula of each material :)

This gives us more progression for inventory growth, as well as additional space beyond what has been available previously once you get the second Backpack upgrade :)

NOTE: If you are using an existing save, this shouldn’t reduce the number of slots that save has, although you may need both upgrades before you see a change.
